MW 18-12S is a lead-based battery that works without the need for maintenance after it has been installed. During the charging process, in the sealed outer casing of the battery, the gas vapors that accumulate react, with water molecules as the reaction product. In this way, the water is automatically returned to the circuit and there is no need to add it later, after a certain number of charging cycles. Thanks to the Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology in which the electrolyte is placed in glass fiber separators, the battery can be used in almost any position (the electrolyte is never in a liquid state).
