Time limits for applying for ineligible goods.


The consumer is entitled to apply for a non-conformity of the goods or service within two years from the date on which the seller or service provider has transferred and the consumer has accepted the relevant product / service, or, if the goods are provided with a guarantee, throughout the term specified in the guarantee. The warranty period should not be less than two years (unless other substantial benefits to the consumer are promised at a shorter time, or a quicker depreciation is usually attributed to a component). The guarantee can not shorten the legal deadline for filing a claim.

Transfer of equipment for repair.
Equipment can be repaired at the appropriate brand service center. Suggest you go to the service (along with a proof of purchase).

Reasons for the warranty repair.
Free warranty repairs are not provided if the equipment is damaged due to inappropriate operation of the manufacturer's regulations, such as mechanical damage, moisture effects, installation of unauthorized software by the manufacturer, and other defects that are beyond the scope of the manufacturer's warranty repair and caused by the fault of the user.

Warranty Terms.


All items purchased on the Electro Base online store have a manufacturer warranty.

The manufacturer's warranty period varies from product to product, which may be up to five years. Information on the manufacturer's warranty period for your product is available in the description of the product or in the Electro Base.

Within the legal guarantee, the consumer is entitled to submit a claim for non-compliance with the terms of the contract within 24 months from the moment of purchase. The right to apply for a claim is valid if the product was used solely for its intended purpose.

Legal entities other than the Consumer are only covered by a warranty provided by the Manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee conditions apply if you can provide: - a proof of purchase (check, bill)

Take care of data security before shipping the product. Warranty service centers do not guarantee data retention, so be sure to back up your data.

In the event that the warranty service is invalid, but the customer refuses to pay the repair, then the customer must cover the diagnostic costs and the customer receives the service center's conclusion for the damage detected. If the customer agrees to pay for the repair, then the diagnostic costs are not covered.

Warranty conditions do not apply to the item's accessories!

Equipment accumulators, power adapters, cooling systems, and accessories included - headphones, remote controls, data transfer wires (USB), charging devices, etc. For natural wear and tear during operation, there is a limited warranty of 6 months or a warranty which lasts for certain service life cycles.

The manufacturer's warranty conditions do not apply in the following cases.


Damage caused by the buyer, the fault of the user (eg scratched, broken structures, cracked screen, poured water into unplanned areas, product that is incorrectly dealt with if untraceable items are found, insects are allowed to enter inside the articles or any other traces that indicates incorrect operation of the product);

The product has warranty seals, serial number damage;

The product has not been used for its intended use and has not been operated as specified in the package leaflet;

Damage results from the feeding voltage, the failure of the telecommunications, cable networks to meet the standards set by the manufacturer, due to rapid temperature fluctuations, as well as due to other household and external factors (soot, smoke, dust, moisture, shock, scratches);

The product shows unprofessional repair marks;

Natural elements for wear cases;

Non-standard power supplies, accessories and spare parts, as well as supplies not certified by the manufacturer for use with the specified product, have been used and if this results in damage to this product;

Used for production or professional purposes (if the item is not intended for such purposes);

The warranty does not work if damage occurs due to incorrect transportation.

How to return a purchase.


Inform Electro Base about your decision to refuse the purchase. Precisely formulating it, and by sending an e-mail.

If possible, return the item in the original package and in full packaging.

Add a proof of purchase.

Fill in the return form and add to the purchase documents.

Get purchase by agreement with the Electro Base to store (Katlakalna street 9, Riga) or Warehouse (Cesvaines street 7, Riga)

When goods are checked, we will refund your money.

Withdrawal Rights.


The right of withdrawal can be used and returned within 14 calendar days from the time you acquired the goods without mentioning the reason for the return.

To use the right of withdrawal, you must inform Electro Base Ltd., the registered office at Katlakalna iela 9, Riga, LV-1072, with an explicit statement using the sample form (eg by mail or by e-mail) ,by phone: +371 25440027, by e-mail: info@electrobase.lv about the decision to refuse the purchase. In order for the right of withdrawal to be met, it is sufficient that you send your notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the cancellation right.

The use of the right of withdrawal will expire after 14 days from the date you acquired or the third party who is not the carrier and indicated by you has acquired possession of the goods. To avoid confusion, at the time of receipt of the item, make sure it fully complies with the order, manufacturer, model, color, size and other relevant parameters.

If you waive this agreement, Electro Base Ltd. will repay all payments received from you under the specific distance contract, including delivery costs (except for the extra costs incurred because you have chosen a delivery method that is not our lowest standard delivery method), not later than within 14 days from the day Electro Base Ltd. was informed of the decision to withdraw from this agreement.  Electro Base may withhold cash repayment until Electro Base has received the returned goods sent by the consumer.

Use of the right of withdrawal will have to cover the direct cost of returning the item, except where Electro Base Ltd. has agreed to cover these costs. The maximum return of the product would be around EUR 60 (depending on the type of product and weight) or according to the costs indicated by the courier service provider.

When shipping the product, ensure that its packaging is such that damage to the goods can not occur during transport. In order to avoid misunderstandings, we recommend that you insure the product by returning it, otherwise you will be liable for damage to the product.

Please note that using the right of withdrawal you are solely responsible for the depreciation of the goods when the goods are used not for the purpose of determining the nature, characteristics and operation of these goods for other purposes. Therefore, please note that during the term of exercise of the right of withdrawal, you are entitled to use the item as needed for the examination of the item (as much as it may be before the purchase of the item in the regular store). By using the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the use of the product beyond the intended purpose of the goods, the use of the product during the term of exercise of the right of withdrawal, which is incompatible with the principle of good faith, and the reduction of the value, quality and safety of the goods.

Legal entities other than the Consumer can not return the item within 14 days.

Cases where the right of withdrawal can not be exercised.


Paragraph 22 of the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No 255 of 20 May 2014 "Provisions on a distance contract" stipulates that the consumer can not exercise the right of withdrawal if:

The price of a good or service depends on fluctuations in the financial market, which the seller or service provider can not control and which may occur during the term of the right of withdrawal;

The product is made according to the instructions of the consumer or if the product is clearly personalized (For example: installation and activation of the operating system on a computer, laptop or tablet);

The product is perishable or expires soon;

The consumer has opened a package for a product that can not be returned for health and hygiene reasons (such as eyelash brush, epilator, eyeliner, beard / trimmer for hair, earthenware, hair straighteners, manicure and pedicure accessories , lingerie, socks and tights, perfumes, cosmetic products, earplugs for audio, breast milk pumps, bio-toiletries, household chemicals and other similar products);

The product is irreversibly confused with other things due to its properties after delivery;

If urgent repairs or maintenance are called, then the right of withdrawal applies only to additional services or goods that are not necessary spare parts for the intended repairs or maintenance work;

The consumer has opened an audio or video recording or a computer program package;

Dispute resolution.


You must submit a complaint about the availability or quality of the goods electronically by sending it to the electronic mail address info@electrobase.lv or in writing by sending it to the address Electro Base SIA, Katlakalna iela 9, Riga, Latvia, LV-1072. The complaint will be dealt with within 7 working days from receipt of the complaint by sending a reply to the contact address indicated in the complaint.

If the complaint is found to be unfounded and you do not consent to the recognition of the complaint as unfounded, you have the right to use the alternative dispute resolution options specified in regulatory enactments by submitting a written application to the seller about the resolution of the out-of-court dispute, indicating:

- Name, surname, contact information;

- Date of submission of the application;

- The nature of the dispute, the claim and the grounds on which it is based.
