Thus, the maximum communication distance of 10 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as hills, mountains, buildings can reduce this distance.

Length

The length of the antenna is another important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range of action. PNI LED 2000 has a length of 90 cm (coil+spike).

Necessary accessories

To be able to use the PNI LED 2000 antenna you need:

- a PL magnetic base with a long enough cable for mounting the antenna on the car dome and a PL259 plug for connecting the antenna to the CB station.

- or a fixed support mounted on a car / truck with a mount and connection cable to the station, such as the PNI T601 connection cable.

Compatibility

The PNI T601 cable can be used to mount a PL type antenna.

Length

The length of the cable is 4m, thus allowing you to mount the antenna wherever it is convenient for you on the vehicle and still be able to make the connection with the CB radio station.
