Maritime Radio Station

The PNI DS890 has 88 channels on each group (Canada, USA and International), plus 10 weather channels and channel 16 emergency.

With adjustable transmitting power, the station emits a maximum of 5 W in the frequency ranges:

Emission: 156.025-163.275MHz
Reception: 156.025-157.425MHz

The station floats and meets the IP67 waterproof standard.

Functions

The PNI DS890 has all the features you need to keep you safe while cruising on the water:

9-level adjustable squelch, CALL function and 5 selectable ringtones, Roger Beep function, Scan, BCL and NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) function for flawless reception without background noise.

1.8 inch LCD screen

The large screen provides all the information related to the station's operating mode: current channel, active functions, transmitted and received signal strength, battery level, channel group (INT, CAN, USA), etc.

The adjustable screen brightness and the 7 available background colors make the PNI DS890 station suitable for anyone and any situation.

Weather channels

PNI DS890 has 10 weather channels and receives weather alerts in emergency situations.

When the Scan feature is active, only channels saved as Favorites and the current weather channel will be scanned.

Floating construction.

When the water sensor and side contacts for battery charging are in the water at the same time, the station screen lights up red flashing and the keys light up flashing to communicate the alarm situation.
