Adjustable power

The High / Low adjustable emission power is useful in some EU countries where it is regulated by law different from Romania, and when the station is used in open field to save battery power.

Alan 42 DS is multifunctional with dual use: in car with body antenna and in open field (parking) with batteries and BNC antenna. The BNC jack allows attaching a small antenna to the open field station (parking) only. Microphone and headphone / speaker connections allow connection of the dedicated Midland MA31-L hands-free with which we can emit directly from the lavalier and can receive in the headset from the ear.
