Scanning Network and Telephone Cables

For network cables, connect one end to the transmitter, switch to Scan mode, and use the receiver to locate the target cable by sound. Similarly, for telephone cables, insert an RJ11 cable into the RJ11 port of the emitter and follow the same steps.

Telephone Line Condition and Polarity Testing

Connect the RJ11 cable to determine if the line is free, ringing, or busy. For polarity testing, connect alligator clamps to a battery and observe the LED indicator; red for positive and green for negative.

Adjustable Volume for Noisy Environments

The device includes an earphone for use in noisy environments, with volume increasing as the receiver gets closer to the target cable.
