When music matters most
The HD 650 reproduces the fine details of music with the same confidence as the highlights.

Definition of plain listening (high)
Expertly balanced acoustics, stunning construction and timeless design.
The HD 650 has all the benefits of a high-performance sports car, yet nothing special. These open-back headphones are favoured by audiophiles for their musical, non-fatiguing sound and the rich detail they offer. After the first note, your favourite tracks reveal their true potential, and you can relive every moment of the performance from a whole new perspective. For audio fans who prefer immersive sound quality, the HD 650 is an instant step up.

Smooth response and dimensional timbre
Open earcups provide enough space for each sound wave to propagate exactly as it would in nature.
The distinctive sound of the HD 650 starts with our in-house acoustics. Audiophiles know that the best components perform at their best when nothing stands in their way. The 42mm transducer employs a 38mm diaphragm with an aluminium voice coil, tuned specifically for long-distance, critical listening: the overall high and low frequencies are effortless, while the midrange is reproduced with lifelike composition - neither needs to be subdued to hit the target. Modern, high-resolution sample rates are particularly beneficial to the HD 650, as it can reveal subtle nuances without overdoing the high frequencies. Each off-the-shelf transducer is measured to exacting specifications and paired with a perfect match to ensure a consistent representation of the full frequency spectrum across both channels. By reducing left-to-right channel mismatch, the headphones deliver mastering-level sound, regardless of room acoustics or speaker placement.

Made with several other things in mind
It combines the very best of modern transducer design with attention to the detail required to handle a wide range of acoustic materials.
Built in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ireland, the HD 650 delivers more: more detailed sound, more musicality and definitely more time for listening. Our manufacturing tolerances are extremely tight, so the HD 650 experience is in line with the experience you'll have around the world, wherever and whenever you buy it. For example, the resonators have stainless steel mesh to guarantee consistent performance after manufacture. Better still, most of the HD 650's components are modular, so you can simply use it as a hi-fi headphone for as long as you treasure it. From the suede cushions to the grid pattern of the earcups, every component is designed to deliver a higher level of personal audio experience so you can experience music even more.

It's all about relationships
With detachable, low impedance cable, stereo jack with standard audiophile plug and premium adapter.
The HD 650 model also comes with a detachable, impedance-matched, ultra-low capacitance cable. The ¼-inch/6.3 mm stereo jack offers an audiophile-standard plug for connecting devices such as headphone amplifiers and A/V receivers, digital audio players, analog devices, etc. The 9.8 ft/3 m cables offer strain-free listening while listening to equipment hidden deep in the shelves or while ensconced in your favorite listening chair. The package also includes a premium adapter to reduce the 6.3 mm jack to a 3.5 mm / ⅛-inch jack, so you can connect to a myriad of other audio devices.
