Unmatched performance

Enjoy enhanced performance. Paired with a compatible Hobbywing motor, the XR8 Plus G2S controller can take advantage of Turbo Timing technology. However, it doesn't stop there! When paired with Hobbywing G3 4268 or 4274 motors, the unit also supports Boost up to 48 degrees, providing efficiency increased by 50% over the previous model, the G2. This is your new way to gain an edge!

Wireless capability and convenient access to data

Get full control. The OTA programmer (sold separately) and Hobbywing HW Link app allow you to program parameters wirelessly, as well as download and install updates. They also provide convenient access to critical information. The real-time data logging function allows you to check throttle, voltage, amperage, temperature or RPM in real time, among other things. Note: due to the limited Bluetooth range, the function works at a distance of up to about 5 meters.

Instant operation

Thanks to the new communication protocol, you can adjust parameters and update software faster. When you pair the controller with an LCD programmer, the device provides up to twice the transmission speed. And when you pair the XR8 Plus G2S with an OTA programmer, it will be as much as 3-4 times faster. (The kit does not include programmers).

Reliable protection

You don't have to worry about the safety of your appliances either. The regulator is equipped with a reverse voltage and reverse polarity battery protection circuit. In addition, special thermal protection protects the capacitor from explosion and overload.

Additional improvements - Full-Sensored mode and BEC switch

The regulator is designed to operate in Full-Sensored mode whenever paired with compatible Hobbywing motors, such as the 1:8 scale G3 series. Moreover, the built-in BEC mode switch with a maximum output current of 15 A and a configurable voltage in the range of 6-8.4 V (in 0.1 V increments) allows the regulator to be used with a wide variety of standard or high voltage servos.

Free parameter adjustment

Customize the regulator to your expectations. You can adjust as many as 30 parameters, such as PWM throttle frequency, braking frequency, and Boost/Turbo Timing, for example. All this allows you to precisely adjust the selected settings to your driving style and to the race track surface.

Reliable electronic switch

The device is equipped with an advanced electronic On/Off switch. Its housing makes it waterproof and dustproof. Forget about the problems characteristic of most standard mechanical switches - the XR8 Plus G2S will surprise you with reliable operation.
